Hi! I’m Tristan Murdock and I am a Texas-based video editor, videographer, photographer, social media manager, graphic designer, journalist, and digital creator. I have over 9+ years of audio/video production experience in television, wedding, broadcast, university, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and digital content creation.

I started editing videos when I was only 9 years old, animating claymation in my bedroom, ever since then I have been hooked on creating current stories and exciting audience-oriented content.

In my current role as Marketing Manager/Ecommerce Director/Social Media Manager at Y-Bell Ranch Supply LLC, I fill many roles such as photographer for photoshoots, new products, and all brand images. Videographer for outdoors/clothing shoots as well as living quarter horse trailer tours. Graphic designer for our magazine, billboards, website, and advertisements. Digital asset creation for our websites ybellranchsupply.com and ybelltrailersales.com. Website design and ecommerce as well as shipping all online orders and being the first point of contact for any online customers. I am also the social media manager and marketing manager for all three of our businesses; Y-Bell Ranch Supply Retail store, Y-Bell Feed Barn, and Y-Bell Trailer Sales.

My previous role as Videographer/Photographer and Creative Producer at Evr Aftr Studio, I edited full-length cinematic wedding documentaries ranging from 15 to 60 minutes in duration, as well as highlights, trailers, and Save The Dates. My responsibilities also included capturing memorable moments at weddings, engagement shoots, bridal shoots, and for local businesses.

As a News Editor and Producer for San Antonio’s number one news station KSAT12, I edited early morning, afternoon, and evening broadcasts. I routinely edited packages for anchors and reporters as well. And my proudest accomplishment was creating, shooting, and editing a mental health podcast called “Living In Silence to Living Out Loud with Talli Dolge”. A three-episode podcast in which various local figures including San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg came in to discuss mental health in the workplace and in San Antonio.

In my career, I have leveraged social media platforms to effectively engage audiences and drive substantial growth for organizations. During my internship at The High Road Group, I spearheaded the creation of daily YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook videos, and full-length YouTube content. Through strategic content planning and execution, the company saw remarkable results, including nearly 50,000 new subscribers, over 10 millionviews on YouTube in February alone, and 800,000 minutes watched on Facebook within a week. My personal YouTube channels, including Hits Productions with over 3,800,000 views and a side project that achieved 50,000 views in two months, also display my ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences and drives significant online engagement.

In my time at Texas State University I wrote, filmed, and edited voiceover pieces as well as full length packages for the university’s student news channel Bobcat Update. I wrote, produced, and edited full length audio podcasts, advertisements, and news pieces for Professor Daniel Schumacher. As an intern for the Education Abroad department on campus I also shot, edited, and audio balanced raw video interviews and testimonials.
